The Lemolo TRYathlon is an annual community event organized by a group of Washingtonians with a fondness for cold water, unorthodox clothing, cheap Russian vodka, enormous Scandinavian doughnuts, and cold refreshing Rainier beer.

At the inaugural event, 13 racers fought their way across icy Liberty Bay, down scenic Fjord Drive, and traversed treacherous Lemolo Beach Drive to the mysterious Lemolo Market, where photos of the participants still hang in a place of honor.
